Home At Last

The past week has been interrupted from blogging, due to an incredibly slow internet connection at the hotel. I couldn't even view my favorite blogs! It was very sad, to say the least.

The trip was to Chicago and it was a blast! My husband and I took the trip to see some of the best bands play at Riot Fest (such as NOFX, the Dead Milkman, Screeching Weasel and Cock Sparrer) but it wouldn't have been complete without a few trips to the thrift stores in the area. Although the Salvation Army was much to be desired, we found a few thrift stores known as Unique to be chalk full of clothing. I have too much stuff to take pictures right now, so these new items will be circulating the wardrobe throughout the next weeks. Our friend Ashely accompanied me in my excitement for thrifting while in Chicago and it couldn't have been better for her. She ran out of those stores like a bandit.

Here a few pics of our vacation. I wish I had more outfit photos to post, but I kept it casual for the punk shows. You need to be comfortable at those events.

The outfit details are...
red coat, ebay find ($4) scarf, H&M ($10) crocheted hat, forever21 ($5) jeans, old navy ($20) All Stars chucks, DSW ($40)
