Set for the Seas

Let me just take a minute here and breathe in some fresh cool air!!! That's right! I finally don't live on the surface of the sun, and I can enjoy some layering in my wardrobe! hehehe... I absolutely adored this outfit when I put it on and I think the blazer was the icing on the cake. I think it's pretty good for Remix Number 19! I'll admit, I'll be a little sad when this 30 for 30 thing is all over.

Oh, and apparently I reminded my friend of a sailor in this getup! I was really amused with myself for creating a sailor inspired outfit and not even realizing it! It actually reminded me of an outfit I put together a few years ago with knee length shorts, a striped t-shirt, and some flip flops and I was mistaken for Smee from Peter Pan. And I will never live that down...at least amongst my friends.

So now I can say I've dressed as a sailor and pirate and it wasn't even Halloween or anything?! I wonder what other costumes I can get away with during the summer months? Hmm...maybe next weekend I'll be a train conductor or a pilot.
