Sort of Witchy

witchy

Wow, it I had a broom and a pointy hat I might mistake myself for a witch in this getup. The funny thing is, I actually wore this to work! hahaha!!! But I do like it. The skirt has a pretty dark green satin fabric with a black lace overlay and I thought the best way to wear it would be with a striped top. And to give it that extra witchy Salem flair I put on my platform lace up oxfords.

It's too bad it was raining tonight, because I could've worn this outfit for a little lantern ghost tour in a nearby town. Not that we have any legendary ghost stories around here. Usually it's just a few urban legends about civil war ghosts that haunt various cemeteries. And then the ghost tour turns into an impromptu history lesson. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's just not very scary. So what your Halloween plans this year?

  1. My guy is in a band that plays an annual Halloween party in town. So I'll be the girl running around a bar in a tinkerbell outfit singing every word. Should be fun and exhausting.

  2. The long pendant necklace is so perfect with your outfit :) And I think if you're going to go with a 'witchy' outfit at work, now is the time to do it, right? :) Hope you have a great week!

  4. I love your lace skirt! I've been wanting a black lacey skirt for a while and that you added stripes makes it SO perfect. It's adorable.

I love your necklace too! I need to buy more jewelry.

  6. I don't think this is witchy looking at all! I really like your skirt. The lace is so pretty and has the perfect touch of girly-ness!

Oh, and I liked your witch reference to Salem ;) We're reading the Crucible right now in English class. Freaky stuff, but perfect to read right around Halloween!
