Day 21 A Movie Afternoon

What does one do with tons of free time on their hands? Apparently, if it's up to me it's watching movies. I never really get a chance to just sit and relax and watch any movie I choose. These last couple of days I've had the apartment to myself since my afternoons are free and Zach is at work. Yesterday I decided it would be fun to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with Dick Van Dyke and then today it was Holiday with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn. Both pretty good movies and it gave my mind a chance to unwind.

Since you can't tell by my bright sunshine photos, I wanted to let you know it was freezing today!!! It hardly ever gets this cold in Virginia, even during winter, but today was a different story. I had to layer like never before. I wore two pair of tights, 2 shirts, a jacket, a coat, and ear muffs and scarves. Oh and I would've worn my new gloves from H&M but I discovered this morning they had sold me a set of two left hand gloves. I was a little miffed since my fingers could've used a little warm comfort.

  1. I love the pattern mixing between the tights and the striped shirt! You look super cute!

Watching movies during the winter when it's freezing is a favorite thing to do. Hope you had a relaxing time!

  2. I love this striped tee! You look so cozy and chic. Hope you're keeping warm! You look great in this outfit!

  3. I have a whole list of movies I want to see. Most of them are older films that I've never seen. Sounds like a great way to spend a day. Taking pictures as this cold weather settles in is getting harder and harder! At least you don't look like you're hands are freezing off, so that's a plus. :)

  4. loving your blog title image, and those red tights are gorgeous. Great styling and v cool inspiration. x
