And We're on to Day Two!

hague

So I did the ole 'turn a dress into a skirt' thing again! I figured these pieces of clothing will need to be versatile for the 30 for 30 challenge. Maybe I can start wearing my shirts backwards too! Or maybe that might be taking it a bit too far...I don't want to get fired for my crazy dressing ways...hehe..

So today was a nice change of pace. Back to work after a couple of days off is always a little rough, but it went by swimmingly! We had one crazy person come in and decided that our bank was going to be their new hangout spot. She walked around the building looking at the pictures on our walls, like it was a museum, helped herself to two cups of coffee and sat in our waiting chairs talking to our customers. It was quite unsettling, because customers become weary of random strangers not understanding personal space. She eventually wandered outside and all was good again. And we laughed about it later. She was a little off her rocker.

And this evening's photos were taken while on a nice romantic walk with the hubby. The Hague is a little water way that leads to the theatre and the museum district of Ghent and it's a perfect place for a little stroll on a summer evening or even a bike ride! I wish it wasn't so hot so we could've enjoyed it more. It was very picturesque and quiet and lots of cute couples were sitting on benches or the ledge and enjoying the view and the atmosphere.

  1. You look lovely, Em! This outfit is simple yet so chic. The way you put together definitely reminds me of Zooey D.. I feel like I've said that before? Nevertheless, it's a great thing :)
