The Evening Stroll

Nothing beats a nice evening walk at the end of a summer day. It felt perfect outside and the sun was big and golden in the purple sky. I cherish days like these, since they are so few and far between in hot southern Virginia.

Starla also loves days like today! On our walk we stopped by our little dog park to do outfit shots and also let Starla play with her furry buddies, but alas, no dogs!! They must've retired for the evening, so poor Starla was left to watch me strut my stuff in front of the cameras...hahaha... She's a little ham, so she got in a few of the pics. She was struggling against Zach to come over to me and get in front of that camera!

Oh and today's outfit was inspired by the desire to make a blouse and skirt look like one piece. I tried to make this a seamless look by incorporating a wide belt, billowy blouse, and a flowy A-line skirt. I seemed to trick a few ladies at work, since they kept complimenting me on my dress. When I told them it was a blouse and skirt, they were quite surprised, so I guess I did good! Ok, I'm being hokey, but what can I do? I'm just a little slap happy from a long day at work:)
