Holla!!! It's Friday!!

I've been looking forward to this day all week and finally it's here!!! Now there is only one more week before our big trip to New York! I'm almost prepared for the trip. I just need to pick up a few more items and I'll be all set. I am prepared to have an excellent weekend and I can't wait! I'm hoping to see the movie, An Education, while on a little bit of shopping excursion with my sister, if her work schedule can warrant it. And then my family is celebrating Zach's birthday and throwing him a fun little party with his favorite meal (hotdogs and baked beans) and birthday gifts. Then the Super Bowl!!! I love Super Bowl parties and we'll be heading to a friends house for a big party where I will, no doubt, be pigging out and laughing at crazy commercials. times:)

Alright, so on to the outfit! I am loving the wool now-a-days. It keeps me nice and toasty while walking to work or walking my Starla. This olive colored skirt has been a staple in my wardrobe for a year, and is one of my favorites. I've also been on the hunt for more wool or boucle skirts and hopefully will find some soon. I am lusting after mustard colored skirts, green, red, or orange. Or really any color would suit me fine. I'll try to do some thrifting tomorrow if possible. I seem to have a full plate this weekend.

blouse, Filene's Basement ($20) skirt, thrifted ($4) tights, Forever21 ($2) pumps, TJMaxx ($40) necklace, Lia Sophia (?)

  1. Love the color of your skirt.. and the tights! Have fun seeing An Education!

  2. i really like the addition of the cat in your last picture. 2nd greatest animal.

  3. Thanks for stopping by my blog, I love yours! The top and tights together in this outfit are so cute together! I hope you scored some good finds while thrifting :)

  4. OMG isn't packing so hard?!? at least you're pretty much all set! i don't arrive in new york until friday night, at like 11pm :( so i can't go shopping for the actual conference which is so frustrating! but i hope to get some shopping done the morning before, and the night after the conference.

see you in less than a week!! ;]

  5. You're so adorable, I love the pattern of your top and your fishnets! Have fun packing, hehe. <3

& about your last post, I'm the same way! I don't have many basics that I should, or I like to skimp on them when I should buy a little more expensive version of it since it'll be worn more often.

  6. YAY - New York! I bet you have tons of fun. I love your outfit. Hope you had a great weekend and a wonderful super bowl party!
