RIP Favorite Boots

rip boots

Well my time in NY would not have been complete without a nice long 2 mile walk in high heeled boots. Before you start thinking, "why did she wear high heeled boots in NYC?" please be assured that I thought Zach and I would be taking the subway instead of this walk. The subway station was under construction, so we had to walk, and boy was I a cranky B****! And on top of that, my boots officially bit the dust. The zippers weren't staying up the side of the boots, and I could definitely tell that my heels were giving up on me. With every step I was praying that some horrible catastrophe would not happen to me in the middle of Bryant Park. All in all it was a nice day outside and Zach and I did end up seeing some great things. We took a trip to B&H so he could get his fix for cameras and then we decided it would be fun to check out the Museum of Sex. That place was hilarious!!! And it wasn't for a lack of maturity on my part, it was just plain funny!

So here are the last photos of myself and my favorite ankle boots that have taken me far and wide in my travels.

  5. thats sad! my favorite booties are wearing a hole in the side (because i'm clumsy & my feet run into each other a lot) and i'm taking them to the shoe dr this week. crossing my fingers he can fix it - i'd live with a visible patch to keep my favorite boots!

  6. I miss NYC! I haven't been in ages and I'm so bummed about that. I really love the print on your scarf though and the mix of colors.
