A Sun-Shiny Weekend!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I decided not to do any posts on Saturday, since I was going to be so busy. It all started after work on Friday with a fun trip to a gallery showing. Our community in Ghent is so supportive of artists of all sorts, and it's amazing how everyone comes together to celebrate creativity and just have fun. I wish I had money to buy some of the pieces of art, since there were so many awesome pieces, but alas, payday wasn't with us that day:(

Saturday was crazy awesome!!! Work started out the day, but it was an enjoyable work day. Then a haircut (nothing too crazy, but damn I love those shampoos) and then a puppy play date! My friend Alex has the cutest Pomeranian Chihuahua mix, named Fox, who gets along with Starla so well. They're the cutest couple!

And then our friends Laura and Paul met us up for a very late lunch at Ynot Pizza (best pizza place ever) and spent the afternoon eating, talking, and people watching. Sometimes the people in the area crack me up. Like people driving down our street in their loud cars, cruising like it's the Vegas strip. Puh-lease people! Anyways, it was a really good time and I was sad to see Saturday disappear.

Then Sunday! Easter was spent going to church really early, making breakfast with my dad, and then hanging out with my sister. She was kind of enough to take my photos again:) This amazing dress was found at Goodwill last weekend and I'm glad I saved it for Easter! It was really bright and sunny and perfect for an Easter service. I threw on the blue cardigan since it matched my nails and then my sister lent me the yellow sunglasses since they matched the dress (hehehe I love being matchy matchy sometimes!). Oh and the necklace? My mom recently discovered Modcloth after she got me a dress for my birthday and has been periodically buying herself stuff! My mom is pretty cool, so it's neat that I get to raid her jewelry and accessories every so often.
