Boy was it a crazy weekend! I enjoyed having News Year day off, but unfortunately I still had to work 4 hours on Saturday. But that didn't kill my weekend. There was an awesome exhibit in Virginia Beach that I was interested in, so Zach and I took off to experience some culture first hand. Then throughout the rest of the weekend I went on thrifting adventures with my friend Diane. We threw on some crazy 80s clothes just for kicks and giggles and looking back on it, I should have taken pictures. But here are some pics of what I wore for our day of adventure.
Nothing too spectacular, but it was a comfy day.
cardigan, Oldnavy ($7) blouse, Target ($10) skinny jeans, Forever21 ($9) flat, Target ($5)
Today was the day I broke out a vintage coat I bought a couple of months ago. It was 25 degrees today so I definitely needed some extra warmth. Sometimes I wonder if wearing such a vintage coat is a little "out there" for the area I live in, but sometimes I just need to get out of my comfort zone. Although I must admit that I changed coats before I headed to the mall.

That vintage coat sure would come in handy here in Kansas, where on Friday the projected high is ZERO and the low is supposed to be -9! So cute!
ReplyDeleteLove the comfy around town outfit and the color of that vintage coat is just beautiful!

Thanks guys! I really enjoy the look of the coat and boy an I glad it will never get to zero degrees around here. Unless it's a freak accident or something.
